Justice Secretary Jack Straw has made a statement on offenders released from prison who have been recalled and who have not yet returned to custody.
The information is being published following an audit of the work of the police, probation areas and the UK Border Agency. It was carried out by the National Offender Management Service (NOMS), which has responsibility for licence revocation policy.
